He was predeceased by: his father Melville V. Claus; his wife Geraldine "Gerry" M. Claus; and his brother Francis (Claus). He is survived by: his daughters, Claudia L. Niles (Mike) and Julia L. Claus (Al Schmidt); his grandchildren, Eric (Rachel), David, Daniel (Victoria) and Jamie; his great grandchildren, Violet and Graham; and his sisters, Donna Chiborak and Janice Claus.
