With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Brodoway (St. Catharines, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 29, 2024 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Brodoway to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husbands, Wilfred Stasiuk and Walter Shumsky; her parents, Mike Brodoway and Anne Brodoway; and her siblings, Mary March, Pauline Tkachuk, Joe Brodoway, Victor Brodoway, Adam Brodoway, Grace Brodoway and Orest Brodoway.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Cahill, Jo-Anne Stasiuk and David Cahill; and also, Teena Wowchuk, Sylvia Craig and Adele Brodoway. She is also survived by friends and family, including many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the George Darte Funeral Home (585 Carlton St, St. Catharines, ON L2M 4Y1). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Theologian Ukrainian Catholic Church (91 Lakeshore Rd, St. Catharines, ON L2N2T6). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Queen's Lawn Cemetery (25 Nelles Rd N, Grimsby, ON L3M2Z7).
