Irene Jakubiak Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on April 7, 2026, at the age of 101, Irene Jakubiak (St. Catharines, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Irene departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Irene may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Irene leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jan Jakubiak. She is survived by: her children, Jan'John'Jakubiak (Deborah) and John Goralski (Ursula); her great grandchildren, Laurissa, Gavan, Emmah and Taytum; and her great great grandchild Amiri.
In honour of her memory, donations made to the The CNIB Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
