He was predeceased by: his wife Doris; and his daughter-in-law Lori. He is survived by: his son Paul (Pat); his grandchildren, Hayley, Bek, Brian (Amy), Bryanna (Sam), Karina and Justen (Cass); his son Jack; and his friend Mary Ann.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the George Darte Funeral Home (585 Carlton St, St. Catharines, ON L2M4Y1). A vigil service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Julia Catholic Church (251 Glenridge Ave, St. Catharines, ON L2T3K2). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at the Pleasantview Memorial Gardens Cemetery (2250 ON-20, Thorold, ON L0S1E6).
In memory of Jack's perseverance through numerous health challenges, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, Canadian Cancer Society, Kidney Foundation of Canada, Heart & Stroke, or Canadian Lung Association.
