He was predeceased by: his spouse Carrol Shields; his child Lindsay Weir (Eric); his parents, Burton Shields and Simone Shields; and his siblings, Gerald Shields (Tanya), Dorothy Danko (Steve), Margaret Casson (Bob) and Donald Shields.
He is survived by: his grandchild Makenna; his son Adam Shields; his grandchildren, Jaclyn and Connor; his sister Betty Borkosky (Ron); and his siblings-in-law, Bob Dunton (Michele), JoAnn Wood (Chris) and Cheryl Dunton. He is also survived by many loving family members and close friends.
