With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Anne Stafford (St. Catharines, Ontario), who passed away on May 21, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Danks and Florence Danks; her nephew Greg Danks; and the father of her children Ken Dixon. She is survived by: her children, Alicia Deitner (Kevin), Warren Dixon (Deb), Stephen Dixon (Heather) and Kendall Dixon; her grandchildren, Tyler (Jessica), Morgan (Remi), Tiffany (Bryce), Sarah (Tilman), Caitlyn, Miles (Dini), Dylan and Reily; her brother Herb Danks; her sister-in-law Diane; her nephew Brad Danks (Amber); and her niece Tracey Yakimchuk (Darius).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the George Darte Funeral Home (585 Carlton St, St. Catharines, ON L2M 4Y1).
In memory of Joan, memorial contributions may be made to The Humane Society of Greater Niagara or The Hotel Dieu Shaver Foundation, and would be appreciated.
