He is survived by: his wife Norma; his children, Bryson Waind (Tracy Buckingham) and Kathryn Ellsworth (Shawn Ellsworth); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Ellsworth and Alexander Ellsworth; his stepdaughter Sue Thiessen (Stuart Mitchell); his stepgrandson Michael Tavano; his stepson Tom Thiessen (Rebecca Thiessen); his stepgrandchildren, Isobel, Patrick and Callum; his siblings, Robert Waind (Georgina Waind), Martha Waind and Peter Waind; and his nieces and nephews, Patrick Waind, Chloe Waind, Victoria Waind and Cameron Waind.
