He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred; his parents, George Hill and Myrtle Hill; his siblings, Robert Hill and Georgina Jukes (Chicky); and his son Wayne Hill.

He is survived by: his children, Lynda Laycock, Wendy Fishleigh (John) and Bryan Hill (Sally); his daughter-in-law Susan Hill; and his grandchildren, Sarah Hill, Laura Hill-Delano, Kevin Laycock, Christopher Laycock, Michael Fishleigh, Tara Fishleigh, Heather Richard, Shawn Hill and Kimberlea Hill-Rees.
