We are sad to announce that, on May 24, 2026, at the age of 81, John William O'Neill (St. Catharines, Ontario), born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Gaëtane; his daughters, Michelle (Rob) and Chantal (Jason); his grandchildren, Austin (Yinny), Mackenzie (Logan) and Dustin; his siblings, Sally (Eric), Mary, Peggy (Fred), Florence, Aubrey (Pat) and Pius; and his in-laws, Jacques (Suzanne) and Lorraine (Pierre). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Niagara, where John received exceptional care.
