He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Bette Avery (Clark); his children, Erin, Jamie McNeill, Christa, Matthew O'Kane, Darwin, Catherine Avery, Will and Lauren Avery; his grandchildren, Owen and Iris Avery; his parents, Edward Avery and Edna Avery (Holmes); his siblings, Irene Purvis (George), Ken (Joy) and Norma Isaacs (late Bob); and his aunt Jean Law (Holmes).
