He was predeceased by: his wife Adeline; and his parents, Maarten Bergsma and Cornelia Bergsma. He is survived by: his children, Michael (Christine) and Amanda (Kevin); his grandchildren, Justin and Emily; and his siblings, Marin, Henk, Andy, Suzanne, Christine, Rose and Ann.
