He was predeceased by: his parents, Murray Bowman and Edna Bowman; his wife Muriel; and his siblings, Harold (Ina), Alma, Donald (Helen), Ruby (John), Ada and Helen.
He is survived by: his son Joseph of Alliston, Ontario.; and his siblings-in-law, Kevin Thompson and Betty Mahaffey of Port Colborne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
