He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Amelia; his children, Cherie Byrne (Ed), Filomena Giles (Bud), Frank Albidone and Sam Albidone; his grandchildren, Courtney, Phillip (Alaena), Anthony, Jordan, Joshua and Liam; his great grandchildren, Makayla, Carter, Aubreigh, Hadleigh and Colson; and his siblings, Bert Smit (Margaret), Rein Smit (Alice) and Frances Walma (Hein). He was also cherished by his nieces, nephews.
