She was predeceased by: her great grandchildren, Jayden, Isaiah, Fabian, River, Piper, Ava, Harper, Arie, Beatrice, Izzy and Miaz.
She is survived by: her spouse Folkert "Fred" Schwarz; her children, Petronella Schwarz (Francois) and Folkert Schwarz Jr. (Jenn); her grandchildren, Nahanni, Soleil, Jacop, Nakita, Dayne and Lexxi (late Kiefer); and her brother Hans Tiel (Lijda). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Nelly was passionate and supported many charities, In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
