It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Olga Michaelena Kowal (St. Catharines, Ontario), born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, who passed away on July 19, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Walter Kowal; her brother John Diakun Denyce; and her father Anton Szymychalski. She is survived by: her children, Linda, Joyce (Mike Higgs), Kathryn, Walter (Shirley Levers) and Stephen; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Riley, David, Melissa, Susan Higgs, Willem and Niklaas Kowal; her great grandchildren, Mandela and Raphael Higgs-Vis; her brothers, Joshua and Jessika of Brockville; and her cousin Lydia Fitz. She is also survived by daughter and mother to her children.
