She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Michael Lastewka and Pauline; her siblings, Emilia, Mary and Jerry (Walter); her children, John Jr. (Linda), Patt (Gord), Jo-Anne (Kevin), Michele (Brian) and Marianne; her husband John Romak; her son Greg; her grandson Derek; and her caregiver Phyllis.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George Darte Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (585 Carlton St, St. Catharines, ON L2M 4Y1). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John Theologian Ukrainian Catholic Church (91 Lakeshore Rd, St. Catharines, ON L2N2T6). A burial was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Victoria Lawn Cemetery (431 Queenston St, St. Catharines, ON L2P2Y3).
