He was predeceased by: his parents, Timothy Joseph and Lily (Potts); and his siblings, Barbara Wilkenson and Gordan O'Mara. He is survived by: his spouse Andree; his children, Timothy, Kevin of Oakville, Colleen (David) of St. Catharines and Kathleen (Anthony) of Hamilton; his grandsons, Brennan, Hayden, Ethan and Liam; his great grandchild Kingsley; his sisters, Olive, Eunice, Lorraine, Lucille (Andre) and Sharon (Jim); his nephews, Tom and Dan; and his niece Eileen. He is also survived by the many nieces and nephews.
