It is with sadness that the passing of Rita Theresia Leip (St. Catharines, Ontario) is shared. Rita passed away on September 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Heinz Leip. She is survived by: her family, Caroline (Hermann), David (Yuan), Michelle (Bruce), Thomas, Sabrina and Rebecca; her nephew Dennis Sumara; and her close friends, Paul Lange, Hanne Brooks, Marie, Leo Magarian, Claire Lahaie and Gudrun O'Flynn.
A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:45 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Victoria Lawn Cemetery (431 Queenston St, St. Catharines, ON L2P2Y3).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to one of Mom's favourite charities, Covenant House Toronto.
