He was predeceased by: his children, Charlie Buttery and Levi Buttery; and his parents, Frank Buttery and Grace Buttery (Nickerson). He is survived by: his significant other Leronna; his daughters, Marlene "Molly" Lewis Cronk (Dan) and Amanda Buttery Lawson (Michael); his grandchildren, Charlie Jr. (Shannon), Jimmy (Amber), Joseph (Erika), Marshall, Allan (Tammy), April (Jason) and Graciela; his great grandchildren, Haley, Jaylyn, Alyson, Jayson, Ariel (Antwon), Aaliyah, Allana, Taylor of Aiden, CJ, Abigail, Braxton and Raziel; and his great great grandchildren, Antwon and Marianna.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church appreciated by his family.
