She was predeceased by: her father Nicola Damiano; her brother Pat; her sister-in-law Bev Damiano; and her parents-in-law, William and Arlene Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, David Thompson (Jennifer) and Lisa Thompson-Kaya (Barış); her grandchildren, Joelle, Ivy Thompson, Miran and Ilyas Kaya; her mother Maria Giovanna Damiano; her siblings, Mike Damiano (Teresa), Ninetta Egan (John), Nina Ferguson (Steve) and Anthony Damiano (Dawn); her former husband Mark Thompson; and her daughter Rose. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the George Darte Funeral Home (585 Carlton St, St. Catharines, ON L2M4Y1). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Alfred Roman Catholic Church (272 Vine St, St. Catharines, ON L2M4T3). A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Victoria Lawn Cemetery (431 Queenston St, St. Catharines, ON L2P2Y3).
