He was predeceased by: his parents, Franchesco Sgambelluri and Angela Sgambelluri; and his siblings, Ester Vivilecchia, Mike and Frank Sgambelluri.
He is survived by: his wife Beverely; his children, Joey, Angi and Lana; his son-in-law Shaun; his grandchildren, Anthony, Penelope and Michael; and his siblings, Jim and Mary Sgambelluri.
A memorial gathering was held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the George Darte Funeral Home (585 Carlton St, St. Catharines, ON L2M4Y1). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Joe to Spinal Cord Injury Ontario, Therapy Tails or Cavernous Malformation Canada would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
