He was predeceased by: his son Kenneth; his grandson Dominic; his great grandchild Dustin; his parents, Johan'Fred' and Signa; and his siblings, Stan, Charles, Bruce, Beatrice and Igna.
He is survived by: his children, Yvonne, Dianna, Dana (Jackie) and Charlene; his grandchildren, Carrie Lynne, Claire (Chris), Yolanda, Neil, Jordan, Kathleen (Justin), Jeff (Teresa), Josh, Ryan (Emily) and Chantal; his great grandchildren, Kaley, Cody, Kristen, Adryen, Kylii, Bella, Charlii, Hannah, Holly, Hailey, Dallas, Paige and Gracie; his great great grandchildren, Kaidyn, Charlotte and Miles; his siblings, Sadie, Bernice and Gordan; and his caregivers, Colleen, Rhemia, Emerson, Jessica, Cathy, Rosemarie, Maria and Sheila. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the George Darte Funeral Home (585 Carlton St, St. Catharines, ON L2M 4Y1).
In memory of Cecil, memorial contributions may be made to Canadian Blood Services, The Niagara Health Foundation (Walker Family Cancer Centre) or Therapy Tails Ontario.
