The memory of Stanley Louis Ciesla (St. Catharines, Ontario), who passed away on September 19, 2025 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his former wife Marjorie; his wife Aniela; and his parents, Edward and Stella. He is survived by: his children, Todd (Maria), Debra (Brett) and Ronnie; his stepsons, Stan (Sylvana) and Ted (Anna); his grandchildren, Steven (Annette), Chris (Kristina), Taylor, Allegra, Lucas, Brianna, Kyle, Abby, Stefanie and Joshua; his great grandchildren, Liam, Jacob, Nathan and Niko; his brother-in-law Walter Fudala (Irena); and his brothers, Robert and Henry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the George Darte Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (585 Carlton St, St. Catharines, ON L2M4Y1). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In memory of Stan, memorial contributions may be made to The Niagara Health Foundation (Walker Family Cancer Centre), and would be appreciated.
