It is with sadness that the passing of Tuula Elisabet Yacyshyn (St. Catharines, Ontario) is shared. Tuula, born on May 20, 1938, passed away on October 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Tuula will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honour Tuula by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Tuula is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Tuula’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She is survived by: her children, Tina (Ryan), Carey (Wendy) and Simon (Indira); her grandchildren, Paige, Abby, Justin, Emily and Jacob; and her close friend Sirpa.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the George Darte Funeral Home (585 Carlton St, St. Catharines, ON L2M4Y1).
