It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Elaine Passfield (St. Catharines, Ontario), who passed away on April 27, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Verna departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Verna. Though Verna may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her son Ron Passfield; her parents, Verna Dobrindt and Murray Dobrindt; and her brother Keith Dobrindt (Marjorie). She is survived by: her husband Alan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to NHS: St. Catharine's Site in Elaine's honour would be appreciated by her family.
