She was predeceased by: her parents, Leen Nieuwenhuyzen and Leuntje Nieuwenhuyzen; her brother Tom Nieuwenhuyzen; her brother-in-law Bill Louws; her sister Corry (Dave Bowley); and her nephew Dan Louws.
She is survived by: her children, Rocky, Laurus Sinke, Tasha Hollington and Sam Hollington (YooHwa Lee); her grandchildren, Ben, Carey-Jane, Johnny, Amy, Luke, Tim, Laura, Esther and Marie; and her siblings, Jacqueline Louws, Joan Nieuwenhuyzen, Bill, Ineke Nieuwenhuyzen, Hans Nieuwenhuyzen, Joanne, Bas Groenenboom and Jim Nieuwenhuyzen. She is also survived by her 12 great-grandchildren as well as many nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tallman Funeral Homes (3277 King St, Vineland, ON L0R2C0). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Netherlands Reformed Congregation (500 Scott St, St. Catharines, ON L2M3X2).
