It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Alex D'Souza (St. Catharines, Ontario), who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint William Alex leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Sonali (Ken), Gita and Neela (Rob); and his father Stephen. He was also cherished by the many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Julia Roman Catholic Church (251 Glenridge Ave, St. Catharines, ON L2T3K2). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Julia Roman Catholic Church (251 Glenridge Ave, St. Catharines, ON L2T3K2). A reception was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Seasons Retirement Home (155 Ontario St, St. Catharines, ON L2R5K2). A burial was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Victoria Lawn Cemetery (431 Queenston St, St. Catharines, ON L2P2Y3).
If so desired, donations made in William's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region or St. Vincent de Paul would be appreciated by his family.
