He was predeceased by: his parents, Jan Visscher and Aaltje Visscher; his brother Jacob Visscher; his siblings-in-law, Frank Douma (Betty), Karl Douma and Stella Poortinga (Iep); and his niece Monica Paulin.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Visscher; his daughters, Angela, Melanie and Kathleen; and his siblings-in-law, Marie Visscher, John Douma, Christina Merkel (Don) and Nelly Poortinga. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
