He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis and Elizabeth; and his sisters, Margaret and Ellen. He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his son Darrin (Laurie); his grandson Eric; his nieces and nephews, Marlies (Sonja), Ann (Werner), Paul (Patricia) and Albert; and his pet Tucker.
