It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irena Marija Punkris of Stayner, Ontario, who passed away on August 30, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Edward; her close friend Alfred Brazys; her sons, Edward and Richard (Elona); her grandchildren, Andrew, Andreja (Michael Aviles), Monika (Greg Moore), Daniele (Stephen), Mikas (Magda) and Simas; her great grandchildren, Owen, Michael Jr. and Harley Jennifer; her sibling Aldona Olis; and her nephew Andrew Olis.
