It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olive Kanat (Stayner, Ontario), born in Niagara Falls, Ontario, who passed away on April 28, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Edward Kanat; her son Jay Kanat; her parents, Ernest Barker and Nancy Barker; and her sister Marjorie Barker.

She is survived by : her children, Charlotte Davey (Rick) and Ron Kanat (Connie); her grandchildren, Ben, Brianna Davey, Ryan (Lisa) and Kristopher Allary (Ashley); and her great grandchildren, Austin, Nolan, Adalyn, Jameson, Autumn and Layla.

Donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada or to the Arthritis Society of Canada would be appreciated. Donations are being accepted for: ALZHEIMER SOCIETY CANADA SOCIETE ALZHEIMER DU CANADA (ALZHEIMER SOCIETY OF CANADA - SOCIETE ALZHEIMER DU CANADA).
