He was loved and cherished by many people including: his close friend Sharon Beaumont; his son Kevin Beaumont (Shaina); his sibling Russell (Kathy); his nieces and nephews, Krystal, Samantha and Jamie (Lisa); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryan and Justin; his nephew David (Sharon); his great-nephew Owen; his great-niece Bethany; and his nephew Kenny (John).

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Richard to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
