He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Sampson and Mary Theresa Sampson; his former wife Elsie Grant; his significant other Audrey McGee; and his brothers, Jeffrey Sampson, Ambrose Sampson (Claire), Dannie Samson (Jean), Francis Sampson (Jeanette) and Arthur Sampson.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin (Linda Stackhouse) and Shawn Sampson (Heather); and his grandchildren, Lyndsay Neil, Brett Stackhouse, Rebecca Neil-Sampson, Brady Stackhouse, Kandis Neil-Sampson and Isaac Sampson.
