He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Tapp and Doris Tapp; his wife Mary Elaine Tapp; and his siblings, Albert and Junie.

He is survived by: his children, Sherry Reid (John), Chris Tapp (Lori) and Patricia Tapp; his grandchildren, Krystal-Elaine Reid (Shaun Olsen), Courtney Reid (Jared Bewsky), Erica Demmer (Anthony), Curtis and Erin Tapp; his great grandchildren, Riley, Kiersten, Blake, Chase, Lauren and Ariel; and his siblings, Norman, Ronald, Gerald Tapp and Linda Brant.
