She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Tamlin and Cola Tamlin of Woodville; her husband Robert H Hoard; and her brothers, James (Mary Hoard), Guito Ticco of London and Bruce Simmons (Kenneth Tamlin) of Cambray.
She is survived by: her children, Linda, Heather and Kenneth (Wendy); her close friend Don Whiteman; her grandchildren, Brandon (Michelle), Eric (Melissa), Alisha (Shawn) and Michael (Haley); her great grandchildren, Robyn, Blair, Benjamyn, Penelope, Kinsley, Cameron and Hayden; and her siblings, Leigh, Phyllis Tamlin of Lindsay, Brenda Tamlin of Hartley, Phyllis Ticco of London and Catherine Simmons of Lindsay. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM and on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mount Pleasant United Church Cemetery (1050 Hoards Rd, Stirling, ON K0K3E0). A burial was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Lois's wishes are that donations be made to The Heart of Hastings Hospice, Mount Pleasant Cemetery or Eden Cemetery.
