He was predeceased by : his parents, Cecil McConkey and Ruth McConkey; his sister Mary Lynn; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Ann McConkey and Dermot Traverse.

He is survived by : his wife Edna McConkey; and his siblings, Glenn (Doreen) and Lori Cole (Paul). He is also survived by his family members and many friends.
