He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Moore and Florena Moore (Adams); his parents-in-law, Ernie and Jean Pierce; and his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Purdy (Pierce) and Mark (Debbie).
He is survived by: his wife Lois Moore (Pierce); his children, Steve (Shelly) of Brantford and Amy (Craig) of Grimsby; his brothers, Wayne (Maureen) of Quispamsis, NB and Ron (Beth) of Quispamsis, NB; his brother-in-law Bob Purdy of Rothesay, NB; and his grandchildren, Tyler, Josh Appel, Sebastian Reed, Kamryn, Nolan Moore, Matthew, Jake, Daniel, Josh Hexamer and Maddex Unterschute. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and incredibly close friends.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Grimsby Peach King Centre (162 Livingston Ave, Grimsby, ON L3M5P7).
