He was predeceased by: his sister Helen (late Lawrence Eccleston); and his parents, Marilla Dougherty (House) and George Dougherty. He is survived by: his wife Diana (Hainsworth); his children, Eric (Lynn), Craig (Rosanne) and Nancy (Joseph Redshaw); his grandchildren, Vanessa (Mark Ives), Ryan, Carly, Josie and Regan; his great grandchild Addison Marie Ives; and his sister-in-law Sally (late Bob Pilgrim).
