He is survived by : his siblings, David Armstrong (Isabel), John Armstrong (Kathy) and Ruth Smillie (William); his nieces and nephews, Alan, Philip, Leanne (Daniel), Mark (Sarah), Luke (Jessica), Karrie (Andrew) and Bethany; and his friend Jim'.
