Ruth Olwen Hoare Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Olwen Hoare in Stoney Creek, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Ruth had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Ruth may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her brother John Horton; her sister-in-law Norma Horton (Coombs); and her parents, Clarence John Hoare and Doris Hoare (Bradford). She is survived by: her brother James Horton (Alice). She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews as well as great, great nephews and a great-great niece.
