He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dorothy; his children, Elgin (Linda), Don (Cindy) and Jim (Liz); his grandchildren, Samantha (Ashley), Alanna (Scott), Mitchell (Kelsey), Calvin (Alana), Evan (Sydney) and Trevor (Tori); his great grandchildren, Russell, Mallory, Henry and Lorelai; and his family Wes. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 2nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Smith's Funeral Home - Stoney Creek (454 Hwy 8, Hamilton, ON L8E5Z7). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Fifty United Church (1455 Hwy 8, Hamilton, ON L8E5K9).
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Fifty United Church (https://www.canadahelps.org) and West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation.
