It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald L. Holmes (Stouffville, Ontario), who passed away on January 6, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald L. Holmes to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, LeRoy Holmes and Edwina Diffin Jenkins; his sons, Louis and William Holmes; his brother Alan Holmes; and his stepfather William Jenkins.

He is survived by : his wife Josephine Sciacca Holmes; his children, Donald L. Holmes of Alexander, ME, Donna Holmes of Waterbury, Theresa Broadwell (Russell Lanziero) of Old Saybrook and Carol Farber (Scott) of North Haven; and his sister Ruth McNutt of Robbinston, ME. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
