He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Cote and Isabel Cote; and his brothers, Jack, Paul and Peter.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Schell; his children, Sharon (Wendell) and Brian; his grandchildren, Ali (Jesse), Mackenzie (Kyle) and Laura (Cody); and his children, Ron, Rita Mary and Helen. He is also survived by his 9 siblings.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the O'Neill Funeral Home (6324 Main St, Whitchurch-Stouffville, ON L4A1G9). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Stouffville Lions Club or Markham Stouffville Hospital.
