He was predeceased by: his former wife Sheila Phillips; his brothers, Frank (Alice) and Leroy; and his brothers-in-law, Brian and Bruce (Sandra).

He is survived by: his children, Sandra (Wray), Glenn and Darryl (Shirley Reid); his grandchildren, Jenn (Matthew), Brianne (Taka), Lee, Alicia, Danielle (Jesse) and Nicholas "Casey"; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Leo, Emi, Mason and Penny; his brothers, Wayne (Bev), Linus (Pauline), Garry (Diane) and Cornell (MaryLynn); and his sisters-in-law, Carmie MacDonald and Heather Findlay.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate a donation to the Margaret Bahen Hospice, Newmarket, ON.
