He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bond and Eunice Bond; his siblings, June McCarthy and Paul Bond; and his great grandchild Benson.

He is survived by: his wife Lena Bond; his children, Kym, Candice and Darren (Trish); his grandchildren, Krystal, Tasha, Shelly, Zachary (Stephanie), Joshua (Keyrsten), Elysha (Chris), Jacob (Emma), Jayden, Phillip, Sonja, Ryan, Tyler, Lauren and Noah; and his great grandchildren, Maikayla, London, Elijah, Abigail, Blake, Anthony, Hudson and Levi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, friends.
