He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Smith and Alice Smith; his brothers, Donald and James; and his sister-in-law Carol.
He is survived by: his children, Gail (Brady), Gary, Linda (David) and Paula (John); his sister Margaret; his grandchildren, Hunter, Allison, Kayla, Teija, Lauren, Emily, Evan and Hailey; and his great grandchildren, Jack, Reilly and Ava. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and a wonderfully large extended family.
