He was predeceased by: his wife Jean; his son Donald; his son-in-law Robin Pitman; his parents, Elma Howells and John Howells; his in-laws, Kitty and Andrew Rolland; his siblings, Thomas, Joan Elson and Shirley Green; and his sisters-in-law, Eleanor and Fran Howells.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Pitman, John Howells (Lorie) and Susan Davey (Steve); his grandchildren, Matthew Pitman (Billie), Tim Pitman (Jillian), Ben Davey (Abbey) and Madison Davey; and his great grandchildren, Olivia, Ocean, Cole, Charlee Pitman and William Davey.
