It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alun Thomas in Stratford, Ontario, who passed away on February 28, 2026, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alun Thomas to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Iris Sweetman Thomas and Alexander Gordon Thomas of Wales; his siblings-in-law, Michael, Allison and Wayne; and his nephew Wayde.

He is survived by: his wife Gillian; his children, Maria, Christopher, Anna and Samuel; his grandchild QiaòYi; his sister Ann Robins (Alan) of Wales; and his sibling's children, Jaemie, Vaughan, Mario Callender, Nicholas Chen, Daniel Duke, Helen, Christian, Joanne Ralowicz, Darryl, Jael Ahye, Matthew Callender, Caylon and Lan.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Main St. United Church (133 Ontario Rd, Mitchell, ON N0K1N0).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society or the Mitchell Food Bank (Salvation Army) would be appreciated and may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
