He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Marshall and Alydia Marshall (Siebert); his former wife Helen Marshall (Davis); his siblings, Alma Alles (Jim), Herta Pethick (Gordon), Otto Marshall (Leila), Oswald Marshall and Frieda Marshall; and his brother-in-law Glenn Wilhelm.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Rae; his children, Dan Marshall (Merle) and Heather McNairn (David); his grandchildren, Michael Marshall, Lisa Marshall (Ryan Koetzle), Joanne Marshall (Luke Roth), Kyle McNairn (Elaine) and Connor McNairn; his great grandchildren, Emma Koetzle and Nora McNairn; and his sister Ann Wilhelm.
