She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bain and Margaret Bain (Tobin); her husband Harvey; her parents-in-law, Ella and Allan Aitcheson; her brothers, Bill Bain (Nancy), Donald Bain and Joe Bain; and her brother-in-law Jack Kellum.

She is survived by: her children, Terry Aitcheson (Jane) and Julie Elwess (Mark); her grandchildren, Brady Barker, Lauren Barker, Franny Kipfer (Brent), Rachel Aitcheson and Arianna Elwess; her sisters-in-law, Nancy Kellum, Marilyn Hooper (Don Taylor) and Aileen Noble; and her nieces, Lynn Humphrey, Lori Brown and Sue Bain (Denni).
